Our local tour guide, Lucia, was fabulous. She explained the history and art and local traditions in a way we could never have learned from a book or museum. We felt that the tour was great. The booking experience on free walk in Venice website was easy and quick. Highly recommended!

This was probably the best walking tour I've ever done. Lucia was super nice and had very interesting facts about the city she was obviously very passionate about. The facts and historical stories were beyond the normal dry historical accounts and really gace a character to the city. Her food and drink recommendations were also great and kept us well fed and happy the rest of our stay. I would have done another tour with her if I had more time in Venice

Lucia gave us a very nice kickstart to Venice. Citing not too many historical details, one got insights from a local that grew up there. The love for the place and some local pride was tangible. She even offered to answer any queries after the tour by phone. We put it to test several times and got recommendations from her very promptly (might be different during busier non-corona times)! We really enjoyed it, thank you so much Lucia!

Lucia is so knowledgable about Venice and so natural in sharing everything she knows. I had great time on tour with her and used her tips and tricks for another three more days (orientation, restaurants, local food, area to walk in). It was BEST TOUR I've ever been to and I RECOMMEND FOR 100%!

We took a tour at the Piazza San Marco and really enjoyed it. Our guide Lu is highly skilled and great at what she does! You receive a tour around the Piazza and get background information on the city of Venice, anecdotes, jokes,... Time flies by. One of the best tours we've ever been on!

Our guide Lu was amazing! Took us around hidden treasures of Venice that unfortunately I think tourists wouldn’t typically explore. Taught us about the people that lived in Venice in the past and Venetians of nowadays, history and how the city works, rules, how to respect the city. Extremely informative and engaging questions.
