Margerita was a great guide yesterday, but I have to say I am disappointed with the organisation of the tour. It took us 90 minutes to get from the hotel to the start of the tour. After the tour we had to wait for 30 min outside of the site to go back. Part of the reason was that the group was much larger than expected, 44 people. Had I known this I would not have booked the tour, but gone on my own.

Our tour guide Alex Scellok was just amazing! Alex met us at the port of Sorrento and was very friendly and enthusiastic. We only had six hours to visit the towns and ports of the Amalfi coast and the many other beautiful locations, but Alex and his driver, Enrico Di Biase, made sure to get as much as possible accomplished during our day tour including a beautiful lunch with a view of the amazing Amalfi coast including a stop at the beautiful Piccadilly Ceramiche factory and most importantly a visit with a Limoncello producer for tastings and purchases. Excellent and well-informed tour and visit of the Amalfi coast - many great memories and pictures. Thank you, Alex and Enrico, for the tour, the legends, the pictures, and the singing!
Pompeii and vesuvius tour First of all, we were promised a mini-bus and winded up on a huge bus. Which we left 20 minutes late. After this, we went to Pompeii and all the tour guide spoke about was penis. It was fun the first time or 2 times she mentioned it but it was more than half of what she spoke about. I was also under the impression we would be seeing more of the body casts, but we only saw 3. After this, we had lunch, which tasted good. However, there was no free time to look for souvenirs. Then was the ride to vesuvius. We did not have a guide going up to vesuvius. We walked it on our own. Another false impression given by the company. We were also given just enough time to walk up and back down. No time to enjoy it. I felt very rushed throughout the entire day. The bus left late to begin with, so why should that cut into my time that I paid a lot of money for? I was very disappointed with this tour. Would not recommend this.
