We did the quarry tour and chose the option for interior designers and architects. Umberto showed us the line of production from start to finish. From the tops of the mountains where the marble is excavated, to a stone yard that finishes slices and polishes, to an artisan workshop making custom pieces for private clients, the entire 2.5 hours was beautiful jaw dropping and very very very informative and interesting (for those that find stones and hand made finishes and materials and finishes interesting!)

We had a great tour of the Marble Quarries with Cristian. Umberto was very helpful with organizing the arrangements and everything went off very smoothly. This tour is better than just showing up for the cave tours because they only take you inside but you can't go all the way up high for views of the exterior quarries unless you have the right vehicle and permission to drive all the way up.
