This visit was the best part of our amalfi tour. From beginning to end the experience was very realistic. This paper mill is fully functioning and the guide shows the process of making paper, by making it! It was just the 2 of us with the guide and my friend got to help making the paper. She spoke fluent English (which is rare in Southern Italy). And she has a lot of passion for her work. There is a very cute shop as well. The museum is in the basement so it is refreshing on hot days. Entrance was only 4,50 and the visit lasted around 30 minutes.

Amazing museum, great tour in English as well. Very impressive to see 300 year old machines still working!

This is actually a really unique and interesting place to visit. It’s not exactly what I envisioned doing when I Amalfi, but I came here for a class and we all had an interesting time and were fascinated with what we learned. You learn how to make paper and can write in that fancy ink. It’s definitely unlike any other museum you’ll visit which makes it well worth it.

Awesome little museum in Amalfi. Our tour guide was wonderful, and it was extremely interesting to see how paper was made. The tour was about 30 minutes and interactive. They even gave out souvenirs. I would definitely recommend visiting this fantastic museum next time you're in Amalfi!

It's an important place if one wants to feel the spirit of Amalfi, the paper making city and also the one that introduced it to the medieval Europe. It's crucial though to visit it with the guide since the exposition itself it is not self-explanatory and the museum is rather small. Price of the ticket is the same with or without guide. It's a cool place.
