Quiet, with some good sea-food restaurants and a yachting harbour.

This is a lovely quiet location by the sea at Villanova. There are a number of fish restaurants in the small area (it was why we went). The best appeared to be the small covered space just outside the owners shop that sells fresh fish and shellfish just opposite the naval jetty. They'll cook anything they have fresh for you any way you prefer. We've been a couple of times and just had what was recommended and not been disappointed. The owner even gave us some of his family's own lunch of spaghetti with tuna, tomatoes and capers while we waited for our own! Highly recommended if you like seafood.

Villanova of Ostuni, a place that has never seen a glimpse of development! How is it possible that a place with such potential, being the Marina of Ostuni, has been left to rot? In 15 years this area has never seen the light. Restaurants are closing down, because tourists and customers are no longer visiting due to a poor offering and lack of any sort of entertainment the only two bars available are left on their own with no kind of support seen in over a decade; another Focacceria has popped up, ok, like its the only thing people are looking to find in a Marina location, however the most ridiculously disappointing part was the smell and the disgusting collection of algae (and debris, who knows of what kind discharged in its beautiful sea) almost turning the port in a smelly living dump, all of this found living here in the month of June, you heard right, in June, when tourists and customers are looking for diverse entertainment, encouraged by the beautiful weather. Well, I did give it a try, in the afternoon at the spring of this same summer and once again what I saw was Villanova in pain and I was left speechless by all of these findings. A magic place left to rot.
