We made it a point to stop in here on this our return trip to Siena a couple of May's ago. I got Doris' picture getting a signed plate from the son whose father had recently retired at 91 years young. I also took Doris' picture with the father some 2 years ago when we last visited. We missed not seeing him. A portrait of his father (son's grandfather) I included in a photo. The photo I posted of the black dish I would have loved to have brought that plate home. Oh, well. Maybe next time! Both father's and son's plates hang prominently in our home. The son is as lovely as his father. ** UPDATE ** - I was able to find our photos from our earlier trip with the father of the shop. I proudly include them with my update!
