Really interesting museum where you can learn a lot about fishing tunas in the last 200 years. Many stories about the founder family, the methods and the factory itself. It’s really detailed with models, photos, set up scenes. And also our guide was really kind and she knew a lot and answered all our questions. She spoke good english too.

Was an interesting tour and place, try call ahead or pop by if already on the island to find out which language the tours will be run in on the day you're thinking of visiting

We visited the Tonnara for a wedding. What a beautiful venue with multiple spaces, beautiful lighting and plenty of space to celebrate:)

Lovely museum, kids enjoyed everything related to ancient history and sea battles. The tour was just the right length too, lots of interesting facts about tuna fishing.

Nice museum and well designed exhibition in the old tuna fabric. However, it’s a pity there is no English tour or any English explanation.

Went for a guided tour in Favignana - and it was probably one of the best excursions I've had in Sicily. Our guide was confident and knowledgeable - she told us about the old practice of fishing tuna only at a particular time of the year, the phenomenal method of setting the trap in the middle of the sea, the legends of the old 'rais', the director of tonnara, and, most importantly, how the life of the island was intertwined with those of the 400 men and 400 women who worked here. Original, local, to be seen!

Such a beautiful surprise in a really beautiful small island! We popped up spontaneously right after dinner and found out the tour was about to start: they told us about the punic war with a great immersive cinema experience and brought us around explaining the history of the Florio family as well as the tuna industry here on the island. I don't know if there are tours in other languages but it's worthy to ask. I'm quite sure also it's possible to visit also without guide. Entry cost:6 euro
