Chiesa costruita negli anni Venti del '900 in rigorose forme neomedievali. Sobria, ben tenuta. È direttamente legata a Gabriele D'Annunzio, nato a breve distanza e cofinanziatore del progetto. Nel braccio sinistro del transetto è infatti sepolta la madre del Vate in tomba monumentale. Merita una sosta in un itinerario dannunziano
