The medieval cathedral of Vicenzs is a really nice historical monument. Its pink/white stone patterned facade is astonishing and it is a good example of how dissociated the facades of churches were from the corpus of the church in the middle ages and later on... usually, it was a different project completely. The late gothic/proto-renaidsance facade and the serene interior are very appealing, and very evocative of the vicenza architectural tradition, or \style\.

Beautiful cathedral. The dome is designed by andrea palladio. You can also visit the crypt downstairs

It s a must if you are in Vicenza ! For a rather small town, this church is wrapped in the grandiose style of other more famous churches around the country. It means that you get the essence of what Catholic churches are like.

The main church in Vicenza so quite a large building that is resonably pretty inside though it looks nothing special from the outside. It feels larger on the inside than it looks from the outside and is free to visit, hence worth a trip if in the area. To me though it does not seem as pretty or as interesting as Chiesa di San Lorenzo. Hence if you only have time to look at one of them I would suggest Chiesa di San Lorenzo should be your choice.

I have a weakness for Cathedrals in Italy, just so beautiful. You have to see for yourself and just sit down to absorb everything.
