Italy is one of the most visited countries in the world by tourists but I discovered and found Bergamo very charming. Bergamo is “… the most beautiful corner of Italy, one of the many, small surprises and joys that makes travelling worthwhile.” (H. Hesse, 1926). The views are panoramic and beautiful from the top after taking the cable car. Buy a 1 day 24 hour bus ticket and it includes the cable car.
