I have been with You Can Camp as an English counselor since the summer it started 7 years ago. I have missed only 2 summers since out of obligations for other ventures, but this program is by far the most rewarding experience of my life. I would recommend it to both Italian families looking to encourage their children to further their English and to native English speakers looking for an opportunity to positively effect an Italian’s child / teenager’s life as well as to experience the unique and beautiful Italian culture. Much love to Sara and to all the Italians and English counselors involved.

It was the first time I joined a Summer camp as both counselor and coordinator for such a long time, a month (I previously had a couple of fortuitous one-day experiences). What to say? It basically changed my life, especially those two full-time weeks spent in Sant'Agata Feltria, a splendid village on the Appenine Mountains in Romagna, in northeastern Italy. It was an authentic team work at any level since everyone contributed in making it so special from our "youcancamp" staff to the town authorities and citizens, and the amazing Hotel Falcon staff where we lodged in total comfort and enjoying delicious meals at their restaurant. Both teens and kids were adorable and willing to participate and get involved in all activities we arranged for them, including video-projects and drama. I was particularly and positively surprised by the high skills and acting abilities some of them showed at such a young age (7/8 years-old) while dealing with Early Modern English in a funny adaptation of "Romeo and Juliet". As for the other tutors, they were amazing persons, most of them really young (around 18) but extremely responsible and proactive in every situation. We sometimes dealt with episodes of "homesickness" or arguments which lasted just a short time, and enthusiasm came back in a jiff! I'm positive this was a lifetime experience for everybody: our young guests (aka "potato-chips", as I renamed them!) not only had a chance to practice English on a day-to-day basis from breakfast to after-dinner, but above all they experienced friendship, respect and empathy developing a basic fondation for all humanity.
Esperienza straordinaria! Ragazzi entusiasti ed in lacrime il giorno dell'addio. Per quanto ci riguarda sarà un arrivederci. Ripeteremo sicuramente l'anno prossimo. Organizzazione non semplice ma svolta davvero bene, con grande competenza, senza problemi e curando ogni minimo dettaglio. Le attività svolte hanno dato risultati non solo per ciò che riguarda il benessere dei nostri ragazzi, ma anche rispetto al livello di inglese sicuramente migliorato dopo questa esperienza. Questo dimostra che quando le cose sono fatte bene anche da noi non è necessario andare in Inghilterra. Bravi, bravi davvero. Secondo me un eccellenza in questo settore. Giovanni Minervini
È stata la prima esperienza fuori casa x mia figlia e si è trovata benissimo. Tutors madrelingua molto preparati ed attenti. Organizzazione molto seria. Location ideale. Livello di inglese migliorato. Nuove amicizie. Non poteva andare meglio. Consigliatissimo
Entusiasta da tutti i punti di vista. Mia figlia si è trovata benissimo. Il camp è stata un'esperienza linguistica, umana, relazionale eccezionale. Dispiace solo che sia durato così poco. Speriamo che possa durare 2 settimane.
Bellissima esperienza! Struttura di buon livello in posizione magnifica!Organizzazione impeccabile ed efficiente, tutors preparati! Giusta ripartizione tra attività strutturate e "tempo libero", grande possibilità di socializzazione. Da ripetere e RACCOMANDARE! Parola di mamma e insegnante di lingua inglese.
Esperienza fantastica. Mia figlia si è divertita moltissimo e il suo livello di inglese è migliorato. Se si potesse fare due settimane invece di una, sarabbe perfetto. Grazie ancora a tutto lo staff
Mia figlia Nicole si è trovata benissimo, avrebbe voluto prolungare l'esperienza. Ottima organizzazione e mi sono stata tranquilla di averla lasciata in sicurezza ,anche se era la prima volta!! Lo consiglio.
