I walked around all this castle and enjoyed very much. Great atmosphere!
Absolutely brilliant museum - I got in free for being in my early 20's too. Very interesting mixture of historic architectural, artifact and artistic pieces. Definitely worth a visit, even just to see the castle and it's grounds.
Just stunning Roman artifacts beautifully displayed. The modern donated art collection was also beautiful. Very impressive
Art gallery and archeological exhibits housed in the castle. It was interesting
Some great pieces of art and sculpture. Unfortunately there were a lot of closed sections and it wasn't very informative with directions or the castle itself. Would recommend checking it out though!
It’s a beautiful castle with rich history. Pavia used to be the capital of Lombardy. On our first visit there was a brief burst of heavy rain. It was amazing to watch the water flow through medieval spouts. We saw an amazing exhibition of Leonardeschi. The pinacoteca is extraordinary. It even has a portrait by Antonello da Messina. On our second visit more rooms were open with beautiful frescoes and Longobard artifacts.
Nice museum, cool playground for kids, they realy take care of the garden. WhatsApp can i say? It's a castel.
