When in Syracuse for me this is the best coffee shop. There are selections of great coffees, pastries and cakes. There is not much food but takeaway different kinds of pasta can be bought to eat and go. All their pastries are so yumny. They also sell limited alcoholic drinks. It's a great place to sit outside there is view of the stree outside. Nice indoor setting too. I highly recomnend this place and it is located in the old city along the main street in Syracuse. The staffs are also friendly even though they spoke limited english. This place was opened in 1956 and building is quiet trendy and very nice architecture. According to owner Basier C. the place open everyday from 7:30 a.m to 9:00 p.m and during summer months its open from 7:30 to 11:00 p.m. The place accepts credit cards and cash.

Very nice cafe in Syracuse. They have got a great coffee and delicious pastries and sandwiches. But staff are very aggressive and rude! What a shame such a great place but bunch of unprofessional member of staff are ruining this business’s reputation. If you are tourist don’t bother to go there, because you won’t get a service nor respect. If you are non Italian they don’t give you a good service and they might even shout at you. They make most of the money from tourists but they don’t respect them. With a new friendly team this place would be a better coffee shop.
Best maple pecan plait and coffee. We roamed Ortigia looking for the best looking baked goods and were delighted when we stumbled upon this cafe. This is where the locals are at! Delicious sweet and savoury pastries and lovely strong coffee at great prices - especially if you have it at the bar (30c cheaper per product).
Thank you for the good coffee and friendly service again. Trendy design coffee bar with nice street view.
Excellent! Service excellent! Coffee and pastries were awesome. Recommend 1000 percent!
Where to begin with this gem...If you fancy a large latte in italy it can be a hassle, however at viola you got options on sizes for your drinks. This place is terrific, it might seem like a generic coffee house, but it really is special. the coffee drinks are on point, the chocolate croissant is fire, and the entire vibe is just great (yes even being crowded it is fine). We stayed right next door to this place and it was a blessing, probably the best latte I've had any where in italy, coming from a person who likes western style lattes.
all you asked from a street Italian coffee shop - good coffee, good pastries, friendly, fast - if you will drink standing --\u003e 1/2 the price
Gets 5 stars from me for the great service. Everything else was good too
