A must see on Burano. I stopped in this shop while on the Burano & Murano excursion on Viking Sky. I had only about 15 minutes and wish I had had an hour. They had beautiful, unique Murano glass jewelry and the owner/glass master was there to explain the process he and his partner used to make theIr art. He was so friendly and genuine it was a pleasure to talk with him. His wife makes absolutely gorgeous flowing translucent silk and Merino wool scarves, and larger wraps and jackets. They too are unique and beautifully made. The pictures don’t do them justice. This is the only shop on Burano where I felt that I was truly getting something that was superior quality, cutting edge design - everything you think of when you think Italian design- and also a good value. And speaking with the man who made the pieces was just the icing on the cake. He was friendly and excited about his designs and it came out in his work! If you go to ANY shop on Burano- or Venice for that matter- please do yourself a favor and stop in this shop. You will see the best Italy has to offer in one place.

Beautiful jewellery and handcrafted glassware. Giorgio has been very helpful in making pieces on request and in showing us how he works, carrying on the mastery of the ancient glassmakers.
Wonderful little shop to discover! Giorgio, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. Extremely happy with my purchases and will be back again some day!

La vetrina di questo negozio ci ha attratto ed incantato: oggetti davvero unici nel loro design e realizzati con estrema cura. Il proprietario, Sig. Giorgio, ci ha subito coinvolti raccontandoci la sua storia e spiegandoci come li realizza. Ci torneremo al nostro prossimo giro a Burano... per visitare anche il suo laboratorio e vederlo all'opera.. posti così non si vedono spesso!.
Per caso abbiamo incontrato e conosciuto uno degli ultimi maestri del vetro, il signor Giorgio, che con suo padre ci hanno dato dimostrazione pratica di questa antica arte... BRAVISSIMI! Oltre alla ottima competenza e professionalità, una grande simpatia cordialità!
Siamo state attratte nel negozio da uno splendido vasetto in vetrina. La gentilissima proprietaria Anna ci ha raccontato della sua realizzazione e ci ha consigliato una visita nel laboratorio del marito Giorgio. È stata un'esperienza unica. Giorgio, maestro vetraio da tre generazioni, ci ha accolte come vecchie amiche e portato nel mondo del vetro, svelandoci le lavorazioni e la passione che stanno dietro alla sua arte. Consigliamo certamente una visita, sicure che l'eccezionalità delle persone e dei manufatti possa rendere unica una giornata qualunque.
C'est grâce à des amis que nous avons eu la chance extraordinaire de rencontrer Giorgio et son papa. Ici, on est loin du tourisme de masse, mais dans l'atelier d'un vrai artiste passionné par son art. Nous avons même pu essayer de souffler le verre. Surtout, si vous allez à Burano, ne succombez pas à la vente d'objets bon marché directement importés de Chine mais faites un tour dans la boutique de Giorgio. Je garderai à jamais en mémoire les instants passés dans le petit atelier, à assister à la naissance de véritables petites oeuvres d'art. Merci encore à Giorgio pour son accueil.
