I went to the Belforte restaurant because of its great reviews and was not disappointed. I showed up pretty early on a cloudy day, and therefore managed to get a table without a reservation. If you are visiting it for the views, please make sure to book a table facing the sea. I had pasta al pesto and the octopus; both dishes were pretty good! The restaurant is on the expensive side, but it is worth it for the experience.

We made a reservation to go eat there during lunch time. We wanted to enjoy the view to the fullest. Staff is super friendly and the food is super fresh. We will definitely come back to this restaurant.
Beautiful restaurant with picturesque views. The food was great and fantastic service. My wife organized my birthday dinner here so highly recommend for a special occasion. ***Book well in advance***
Loved this place! We were nervous that it might not be that good because it is such a great location and the effort does not need to be there to get people to come. We were very happy that we decided to stop here after hiking from Cornigilia. Andrea, the waiter, was extremely nice and talkative! If you want to go, even for lunch, recommend that you make a reservation so that you get to sit on the other side of the castle. We did not and got lucky we even got a seat and our view wasn't bad, but with more planning, could have been much better!
Looking for a place to surprise him/her? Perfect place to ask him/her down the aisle? This is the place, it is a Restaurant with a view! Good see food, not top of the rank, but still worth a try. Good entries, mention for the home made pasta with shrimps, still room for improvement for the grilled sea food platter as main. Overall, a place to go for once due to the stunning view. Reserve in advance, 1 week is fine also in summer time and ask for the lovers table. You'll...love it!
