The pasta was al dente and perfect. This place may go by unnoticed but its a nice place to try when you are in venice. The staff is welcoming, friendly and ready to accommodate you. They make homemade squid ink sauce and it's very nice. The prices are lower than you would expect for Venice. If you are looking for a nice quiet spot to enjoy a meal then this is the place to come. The portions are large and you should definitely not leave hungry.

We ran across this restaurant to get away from the crowds of tourists. I ordered the artichoke lasagna which was amazing and delicious, and my wife ordered the duck breast. She was not expecting the duck breast to be very rare and asked the waiter to take it back and cooked it more. It came back very rare still which my wife didn't enjoy too much but I didn't mind it too much. Through this experience we learned that this dish was probably not the best choice for us in Italy. I'm not giving them lost marks for this as it is a learning experience for us, instead, they gave my wife the wrong order and we had to wait 15 min after my dish was served for her receive her dish. They apologized for this and gave a complimentary shot after our meal. The service was quite good and they were apologetic for the mistake.

Welcoming place with traditional food! I highly recommend Nero di Sepia spaghetti with a glass of dry white wine Friendly staff and a very cosy environment!

Extremely pleasant location. Attentive staff. Tourist friendly. Very good selection of wines, pasta and seafood. Quaint location off the beaten path. With the walk. Not good for small children but good for couples, families and groups.

Tasty food, drinks and wine excellent and very fun staff open for smalltalk and laughing together. I recommend it, we had a evening filling dinnerdate and with 4 dishes and quite a few drinks paid 90 Euro - Definitely a satisfying experience for a fair price!

Bacarandino is a nice restaurant with tasty food. Highly recommend. We had spaghetti, short pasta, and grilled lamb.
