Great place but pasta was not al dente, a bit soft. The sauce was great, there was a lot of seafood mainly octopus, wine 6 a glass, seafood pasta 16 not bad prices. View was good but service was mediocre. Right next to the church, on the main road

The restaurant takes good precautions against COVID-19. Temperature is taken when entering, tables are spread apart. All service wears masks. Very friendly and attentive service, we were probably one of the first tourists outside of Italy returning after the Travel ban. The food is ok. I think the restaurant is used to dealing with masses of tourists efficiently, so many things are pre-prepared. As a foody, I would prefer freshly cut basil on my caprese for example, that’s why I give 3 stars. If you are starving and want your food fast this is something you do not care about. The view is beautiful, partly looking out onto an old church, the sea and the mountains.

My wife and I recently spent a few days in Praiano near Trattoria San Gennaro. By far the best pasta my wife and I have ever had! We ended up eating there 3 times over the course of 5 days. Highly recommend it! Wait staff and owner were very friendly.

The food was very tasty. The portions are very big. We took an octopus salad from antipasti but it could be served as main dish because it is big. The staff is very friendly and polite. Very nice view.
