For breakfast: we were not prepared the jam in the croissant was hot. It burned my knee and hand. We were shocked! The croissant itself wasn’t even hot. And was given to us without a warning. We had to wait a long time for someone and when we went in they told us they would come out. The croissants were not great. Definitely not to our liking, very chewy. The coffee was what made this a 3 and not a 1.

Never expected a food experience like this so close to a tourist hot-spot. Lovely staff, delicious food selection and great wines, along with hot drinks and pastries. Definitely the place to go before or after your visit to the Vatican.
