What a great treat and perfect way to spend a first night in Florence before tackling the big galleries. Excellent performances with lots of historical facts making learning fun. Got to talk with staff before and after the show-super helpful with information about the frescos inside the former convent turned theater, also got to chat with the stuff.

Randomly decided to go see this after seeing a flyer for it at a nearby cafe, and walked away very impressed from what was a well-put together performance. The play is entirely in English and the actors do put on accents for the show, so it might be difficult to follow some of the dialogue if you are not a native/bilingual English speaker. It lasts about an hour and plays out a dramatic scene between the last two Medici siblings, detailing the history of their accomplished house and how they literally shaped the city of Florence with their patronage for the arts and sciences. There's lots of great historical context infused with bits of drama and comedy throughout. They also have some really cool projections and visuals on the walls as the play progresses. Overall it's a great way to sit back and just watch after a long day of exploring in Florence. The actors were very energetic and excellent. Ideally, try to attend after you've done the main sightseeing in Florence (Uffizi Gallery, Boboli Gardens, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, etc.), because you'll understand things a lot better in context. The theatre is run by a small group of very friendly people, and there was also an art exhibition on display in the courtyard before the show began.
Wonderful evening! Learn the truth about why Florence has it all! Great venue, well thought out presentation, fabulous actors! After a day exploring the city, rest, relax and let this talented group take you away. Highly recommended.
Great show loved it! Wonderful! However we booked as a package deal with another company that said "dinner and show" so we assumed it was like a dinner theater. It was not. So great show definitely recommend it. But book directly with them not a separate company
Such a fantastic show - an intimate show which will leave you steeped in history and entetrtained! Perfect to complement the art and culture of Florence and well timed, after a day out and before dinner.
The show is very interesting, the actors are very good, the location is also interesting and fitting for the story.
Interessantissimo spettacolo, in inglese, sulla fine della dinastia dei Medici, la più importante famiglia rinascimentale fiorentina. Si tratta della storia di Gian Gastone e di Anna Maria Luisa, figli di Cosimo III, ultimi discendenti della nobile casata e del loro intimo calvario in una Firenze dominata dagli intrighi e dalla lotta di potere. Ottimamente recitato attrae spettatori di ogni nazionalità. Lo spettacolo si svolge nella bellissima cornice della chiesa barocca del complesso Il Fuligno in via Faenza, a 100 metri dalla stazione centrale di Santa Maria Novella.
Il faut bien comprendre l'anglais pour comprendre la pièce, au delà de ça juste un petit souci de son dans la salle choisie pour le show. Sinon les acteurs sont Grandioses ! Ils portent la pièce et c'est fabuleux. Les jeux d'images et de lumières rendent cela encore plus beau. Bravo ! D
