Beautifull place, great panorama view on Carnic Alps and Karawanks range in the north and the Julian Alps in the south.

Good service, saved me climbing uphill when I wanted to enjoy walking up there.
I think this is my first gondola review, too bizarre to pass. We visited Tarvisio for a day-long ski trip. And the use of the cable car was in fact forced into our plan because why not! Instead of taking the direct route up, we began the journey from the Duca D'Aosta and the idea was to reach Monte Lussari by a lift crawl. (It is longer and more intricate than they show on the map by the way.) After reaching the top we decided to go down Di Prampero just to take the cable car back up. I love that it is included in the daily ski-pass. It moves a bit slowly for my taste, and loses some time on the first stop. But of course having a station in the middle is another plus, so I won't complain too much. The thing is, after coming down Di Prampero a part of our group wanted to return to the centre and since it is a bit far to walk with the boots we asked for the busses. Apparently the ski bus only works on weekends and the only other way to travel between Tarvisio and Camporosso (where the gondola base is located) is the public bus, which does not pass so frequently. So, it's better to check the times before making any plans. (The tickets can be bought directly from the driver and it costs about 2.50 eur.)
Unfriendly staff, in Austria they are always friendly at the desk, you should go there and learn. I give 2 more stars for the mask policy which is generally accepted.
Wonderful! Such amazing ski pistes and great time spent on skiing. Easy reaching ski lifts and great restaurants on top with deacent pricing and high food quality.
