Good for kids
Really loved this short (3.6km) trail. We walked it from start to end. There are good parking places on both ends (either near the waterfall, or at the cemetery on the other end of the trail). Lots of brilliant small waterfalls. The river is incredibly blue and a lovely place to go for a swim in the warm Tuscan summer.

Nice family walking trail. Took our 2 and 3 year old with no issue. Parking is easiest on the street or one of the public lots in the town center. Short 5-10 walk from trailhead. Water is a truly fascinating color!
We came here to swim and have a picnic but found out the river is in an industrial zone and water smells really bad in a several places... We e were not sure if the whote color is from minerals or factories and decided not to risk it. The visibility in water is around 30 cm...
Beautiful and easily walkable trail. It's amazing how quickly it transitions from the urban city area to wild forest area. There are some small gardens cared for by local farmers along the path, but otherwise it is a beautiful nature area, a wide variety of song birds singing, and some almost mythical-looking arbors above the trail. The river is very inviting, so bring what you need to dip your toes or completely jump in!
