Do yourself a favor and go to this place to eat the best pasta ever! I had the most wonderful gnocchi a la Sorrentina that melted in my mouth. I cannot even describe the lasagna with words. The service is lovely!

I arrived in Sant'Agata on Wednesday 7th October 2020 and I was unsure where to eat; luckily I found the takeaway branch of this restaurant and while in there, I got chatting to the warm and friendly wife of the owner/chef who suggested we give the sit-down restaurant's 'full menu a try'. The takeaway was delicious and very filling and the terrible weather stopped me coming back out to the restaurant that evening. But I visited the next evening and decided to try a few dishes. \OH MY GOD\! The food was exquisite and I had what I can honestly say is the best steak, and homemade pasta I've ever had. Also, the seafood was amazing! The season and time of the evening meant that the restaurant was very quite on Thursday so I had the thrill of peeking at the chef/owner through the curtain as he prepared my meal with pure passion and care... I love to cook myself and I always appreciate seeing someone who shares that passion for cooking. The meal I had there on Thursday night was so great that I went back for lunch on Saturday 10th October and tried the other half of the menu (pics attached)... Again, it was exquisite! This place without question provided the best food I had on my trip to the Amalfi Coast. I went to a few places along the Coast but nothing came close to this place in terms of quality and taste... And let's not even talk about price... they're practically giving away the food for free here. So much so I tipped heavily just to stem the guilt I felt for paying so little for such beautiful food. I'm so so glad I found this place.

BEST pasta in 3 weeks in Italy. Delightful little find. A small family run eatery. Simple low key setting with a simple but appealing menu. The pasta was amazing - homemade super fresh. Nothing fancy, just good food at cheap prices. Lasagna and melanzane were great too (as was the panacotta)... All made our best dishes of the trip.
