A small jewel in a big city. The place is absolutely fantastic. The food is flawless, tasty and good looking. The service is flawless with smiling persons and quick service. Hence this is a place I very strongly recommend. Book a table beforehand though. I am not the only one loving this place.

Reviews are the only true indicator of differentiation of quality. First time in Sanremo we choosed this place because it was the best rated in the City. The fact is.. it is actually amazingly good!! Fresh, tasty, cheap, cozy all of it with an incredible service. The cook's wife is Canadian and very charming and the cook is excellent. Thankyou

What a great place! La porta verde is an Osteria in a small street in Sanremo and it is awesome. From the arrival on the staff was very friendly, but still polite. The menu is continously changing and consists of mostly local/italian cuisine. It's homecooked and everything we ate was well prepared, lovely arranged and insanely tasteful. The price is very fair for the quality to recieve in return. If you're looking for a bargain, then go search somewhere else. Quality comes with a price. Pastas range from 11-15, main courses up to 20. I highly recommend La Porta Verde.

GREAT pesto pasta, the service was more than great. We were very pleasantly welcomed and seated. The food came fast and delicious the waitress paid attention to details and to us, definitely recommend and I can’t wait to eat there again. The price was very good for the quality, loved it! Also as a plus the waitress spoke french and english which made our experience very smooth.

Nice place, delicious food! Stuffed sardines worthy of attention. A pleasant service that speaks English and French (which is not obvious in Italy...). Prices are adequate.
