Another sacred place in Italy, is the church/shrine of Padre pio in San Giovanni, Rotondo, Italy. A famous pilgrimage site. If you're planning to visit i suggest you take a night travel or early morning to avoid a huge crowd.

Beautiful sanctuary build around the small church in which Saint Padre Pio lived in. Beautiful and unique as the Saint just died 40 years ago. A centre of faith and spirituality of the Italian people.

So glad i visited this place. Rented a car from rome to San Giovanni Rotondo. Easy place to go. Italian highways are easy. Padre Pio is my best friend and i. Will forever treasure the experience of seeing you in person. I shed tears upon seeing you for reasons i do not know. Padre Pio Pray for Us.
