In information desk there was a women I think she was on phone with her relative and I was waiting to ask information about my wife who was recovered here, her attitude is really painful and not friendly at all! And no one speak other language then Italian!!!

This hospital is horrendous. I've been waiting 7 hours and still haven't talked to a doctor or nurse. I've begged for help but the nurse slams the door in my face. They are rotten to non-native Italian speakers. My pain medication has worn off, and no one cares. I'm fine with waiting. Just please help alleviate my pain. They just yell at you for not being patient as you watch people who came after you go see the doctor first.

I’m in the waiting room now and this place is unprofessional, lacks any technology, has extremely rude staff, and no soap in the bathroom. It’s dirty, unhygienic, and I wish I never let the ambulance take my mother here. I just found there are several international hospitals here in Rome, I’m guessing a much infinitely better alternative. I can get us out of here fast enough.

Don’t even dare to come here. EMERGENCY ROOM IS THE WORST! My husband came in because he was dizzy and nauseous. They ran a series of tests, we waited for 3 hours and the doctor came back saying that they made a mistake in the test. In the meantime, I had an allergic reaction in my eye. For the first time I had an allergic reaction to seafood, from the pasta before. He screamed at me in the lobby saying that I had to go to a an oftomologist and not there. My eye was completely swollen. The nurse went on and on giving me a diagnosis, when I just clearly needed a loratadine. Anyway, I had to run to a pharmacy to get something for my swollen eye and leave my husband in the emergency room. It was already 2:00 am., I arrived at the Airbnb we rented, my husband called me again that there was another error in the test. It has been the worst service I have had in my life. I have also seen how they are treating other patients, for sure they have chosen the wrong profession. They should be sued for Malpraxis. FYI - if you are already there, stay aways from the bald guy with a goats beard. -

As an American, I was pleasantly surprised with the care I received at this hospital, especially given the harrowing reviews I had read on here. I rolled my ankle very early on in my vacation and needed x-rays to see if it was sprained or broken, and I was in and out of the hospital in a span of about 2 hours. It is crowded and you’re likely going to be in waiting rooms and hallways with multiple sick and injured people, but I’ve honestly heard worse from some hospitals back home. Also, I did just fine without speaking Italian but this may vary based on your needs and who’s on shift when you get there. I was prioritized over others in the emergency room for some reason, perhaps because I only needed quick x-rays done. The ER doctor spoke Enlgish (though I had a whole paragraph ready to go on google translate just in case) and was able to tell me about the x-rays and what to do from here. If this is the closest hospital to you and you need assistance with an injury while on vacation, I don’t think you’ll have problems here.
