Where to start. We have been coming here for years. Whenever we are in Rome, this is our first booking. The atmosphere is wonderfully calm, no awful ‘Muzak’. The food is exceptional. The Lobster spaghetti is the closest I have been to a moment of divine ecstacy. 10 stars out of 5.

Really good seafood restaurant in Rome! Oyster, calamari, lobster pasta, white truffle pasta, lamb etc. Everything was perfect save for the mediterranean sea-bass which I didn’t like. We reserved a table since we’re a family of 12. They gave us excellent service! Situated us at a small private area and gave good recommendations.

Top fish restaurant in Rome with a beautiful terrace. Inside is chic and classy. Outside nice and quiet in a picturesque piazza. Food is excellent and pricy. Wine list difficult to find any bottle below 50 and most are three and four digits. Service is a bit bossy and floppy (forgetting things for instance). But overall a nice experience.

The atmosphere and service was wonderful! The fresh oyster and raw seafood appetizers were amazing! The clam pasta and fish main dishes were a bit bland. It was a great dining experience if you like a trendy fine dining atmosphere. The mains were just okay.

The ambiance at Pierluigi was lovely and we had a pleasant dinner on the terrace on our last day in Rome here. There seemed to be a mix of locals and tourists, with the overall vibe being positive and lively. The food itself was thoroughly enjoyed and well-presented, with pricing that you’d expect from a more high-end restaurant. The eggplant parmigiana and dessert were the highlights! The reasons this wasn’t a 5 star experience was because the servers were rather adamant about recommended dishes. We appreciate the feedback and recommendations but the dishes we noticed that were recommended for us and a nearby table were specifically the ones priced per 100g (which quickly add up) and the server was ambiguous about appropriate portion size. We don’t balk at food prices and are always willing to spend for a great meal, but found it interesting that all 3 recommendations we received were like this. We also found it a bit strange to be charged 2 portions for a bread basket that was placed on the table without being asked when the restaurant provided a mini amuse bouche. Regardless, it was nice experience that we do not regret.
