Excellent choice for dinner . We've spent 50 for 2 people and it worth it. But we'd ordered too much, you could easily meet 35. Photo of super-delicious rigatoni attached

Nice ambience, good-sized portions, friendly staff, and fair prices (a bit on the expensive side when compared to other restaurants in different neighborhoods such as trastevere). All in all, it was a good experience (and it is also a wise pick for those who are looking for authentic Roman cuisine).

I went here with my parents after researching highly rated places to eat in Rome. I called to book ahead for a table right when they opened. We arrived early and waited outside until they let us in. The restaurant looked interesting but the ambience was a little dry and quiet. We ordered the fried meatballs (dry and not so tasty), cacio e pepe pasta (really tasty and good portion), rigatoni with matriciana sauce (not bad), rolls with sauce ( big portion so gave a big appetite), and sides of mixed salad and scarola with raisins, pine nuts and olives (really tasty). If you have sensitive teeth, don’t order the pasta (al dente). My dad had a hard time enjoying his food because this. The portions are big so be careful to not over order! The waiters are kind and attentive enough. I didn’t give this place five stars because in my opinion, everything came out average and just ok. Good meal but I wouldn’t go back. Would give it a 3.5 if I could.

This was my favorite meal I had in Rome. The restaurant is located near the Vatican so I came for lunch before going to the Vatican. The restaurant seems understated from the outside and the inside is pretty and the staff is very efficient and quick in turning orders around. I ordered the fried artichoke, which wasn’t that good, but the best part were the pastas. We had the rigatoni carbonara, which was the best carbonara I ever had. It had the richest egg and cheese sauce that was so delicious with bits of bacon. We also had the rigatoni a’matriciana, which was super delicious and well-made. You definitely need to come here if you visit Vatican.
