After living in Rome for 20 years I thought it was time to give this place a try Couldn’t have been more disappointed Waited more than 10 mins to be acknowledged Despite booking from mid week for Sunday brunch, we were sat at the end of the restaurant, even if the window table was free for 3. Ignored for 15 mins at our table without even offering water or bringing a menu Had a discreet yet, not worth the price, eggs Benedict on what was supposed to be a muffin but turned out to be a hard bread roll and knifes were not apt to cut Once we asked for the bill it arrived after 10 seconds When we left after overpaying, the table we would have preferred still had nobody seated To me this place from now on will be called SHAMINGTONS

Steeped in history the Tea Room is no ordinary place. If you are looking for a cheap breakfast or tea, look elsewhere. For our breakfast everything was of the highest quality, down to the extra honey to sweeten our tea and the tea itself. Many small details make this experience exceptional. The staff is extremely attentive. It was a perfect farewell to our stay in Rome. Many mention the prices, eating and drinking here is not cheap - yes. But I feel it is worth it. If you seek cheap, there is a McDonalds nearby.

Cute little British cafe located next to the Spanish Steps. Definitely come here only for the teas/coffees and desserts! I loved my cappuccino and the service at this little cafe. This place is definitely touristy and not many locals dine here. Although you see scrambled eggs pictured, I do not recommend as they were pretty watery. This place is easy accessible and I believe it’s wheelchair friendly.
