Great nature-break from the beach.Forrest trail (sort of marked / circular to follow) in the shade arriving at old tower with great view of the coastline. Some info on the vegetation and animals along the trail. Perfect with kids. Only open until 2pm and only certain days.Few parking spots on the main road just by the entrance (google has wrong location).Bar close by for soft drinks/snacks.

Amazing natural park and reserve of LAzio Region. located north of wonderful Anzio is a beautiful natural reserve with amazing cliffs and clear sea!! Is a beautful place to hiking and watch the sunset!! :)

Quite interesting to visit but open only 3 mornings (Thu, Sat and Sun) per week. Why??? Could be maintained much better than it currently is as it has a high potential but unfortunately that is not the case currently. The territory of the reserve appears almost flat, and ends at the sea on top of a cliff about 15 meters high on the sea level. The tower which gives its name to the reserve is situated on the highest point of the cliff, and was used to control the Lazio coast, from pirate raids. Would be nice if they could open it also at night from time to time so that people could see the stars benefitting from the absence of artificial lights. Thanks to those who decided to create this small natural park that prevented the crazy urbanisation that has ruined the area.
