We didn't expect much from this Refugio, but when we arrived we were left speechless. The views are one of the most dramatic and spectacular we have seen, the service was very friendly and food was pretty good for a refugio. Rooms were quite small, but the views make up for it

I slept at Rifugio Vazzoler for one night while hiking the Alta Via 1 and had an amazing stay. This hut is run by a family, all of whom were very kind and helpful. You can sit outside an enjoy a drink with an amazing view looking out on mt Civetta, and inside the hut is cozy and comfortable. Lastly, the food was really good. I had a pastin sandwich with cheese and vegetables, it was delicious and exactly what I needed after a long hike, and the half board dinner was also very nice.

Amazing location, super friendly staff, better than average rooms and food, but below average showers. Also priced extremely reasonable with a great menu available. Definitely worth a stop.

Lovely rifugio with a cosy outside terrace. The dog Benny is the star of the hut. The owners are extremely friendly; I had left my e-reader in the rifugio, and they brought it to my next hut. Thank you again!

New gestione from 2020. Very very kind !!! The food is incredible and the sleep very confortable. The boss is quite aware of the climbing around and very happy to share experiences about it. A must go if you come around !!!

What a lovely rifugio on the Alta Via 1. For me, it was a good stop on the way down to Listolade. I spent the night, but I also saw that some people walked up here just for the day. The family who's taken over management this year are so sweet and made me feel welcome. The food was delicious (try the canederli), the bed and room were comfortable (having a nice big window to open was great for fresh air), and the view of the mountains is stunning.

Friendly staff, pretty good food tho only basic breakfast, rooms small and beds a bit old. Very small shower cubicles, 3 Euros for 3 minutes. Clothes lines under covered balcony. Great views

By far the worst rifugio we stayed on during our Alta Via 1 attempt. The rooms are shockingly small and claustrophobic. The bunk beds very shaky. I found some hair on the mattress. The restrooms were clean but anyone walking outside can see you from the window. The shower costs 3 for 3 minutes and there is no cold water running without paying either. But it is possible to pause it. One shower was not working. The breakfast was very basic but the staff was helpful when we asked something more than just bread and jam. Dinner portions were very small. The wireless connection never really worked (connects but has no Internet access) and there is mobile reception only in the balcony. Expensive for the value it offers.
