The hospitality and ambience is amazing, nothing like I've ever witnessed before. The staff is super friendly and cheerful. The views are amazing, especially at night. A recommendation for everyone walking the TMB

It is an experience: from the motorbikes than picked us up, to the view, the Prosecco and the nice service, I totally recommend it. Food is not the hero of this place, still you can eat and have some fun.

Excellent place to enjoy good food and good wines. Lovely outdoor area with a wonderful view of the Courmayeur valley. Giacomo and his staff are great hosts. I have only be going to his Rifugio for 30 years !

It was an uphill trek to get to Maison Vieille. The reward is beautiful scenery and wonderful food. The food prepared here was as good as any restaurant down in Courmayeur. We really enjoyed our linguini will mushroom as well as the grilled vegetables. The walk West from the refugio on the Grand Balcony was one of the most impressive and spectacular on the Tour du Mont Blanc.

Having pre booked for lunch the night before ,there was no record of our booking. Having to Wait 20mins for a table when others without a booking where seated before us was very annoying. We ordered 3 pizzas and a meat stew only informed when the other main courses arrived that they’d run out of cheese so no pizza, and another wait. In the end the only good thing about this restaurant was the sunshine.

One of the best places in the world. P.S. try spaghetti carbonara and cakes ;)

Fun place with great Italian food. Mountain wood cabin covered in knick knacks, fun and friendly staff, noisy. Best carbonara I've had in a long time, but the sausages and polenta are great too and the pork chop... You might end up rolling down the piste after eating here!
