I met Ricky for the very first time when I had my first tattoo. It was something about 20 years ago. At that time his studio was a pretty small place with a beautiful Barber chair. Today I proudly have several tattoos, all marked “Ricky tattoo”. One of those was made in USA during the period Ricky was there. The reason? In my opinion, he’s a great artist, I really like his lines. And he’s also really professional. Everything is always clean, all the stuff are opened and used in front of you... that sort of things that make you feel safe. He made me a portrait of my daughter on my right arm. It’s simply incredible how he was able to recreate the exact expression of my little princess! Also today she is used to put his little hand on my right arm and say: “I’m putting my hand on my face”. If I will have another tattoo (and probably sooner or later I will), for sure Ricky will be “my man”

I had seen Ricky Buttino's art on Facebook few years back on Facebook. At the time I was looking to get some art done but couldn't find an artist. His work along with others was being posted for the united ink convention here in NY. I went thru his artwork and fell in love. I reached out to him via email asking if he had an opening for the convention. Turns out he had an opening. So, me being the worry wort I am, was so relieved with Ricky. He made my tattoo experience great. Not to mention talking to another Italian about food and the country made everything feel like home. He was patient and professional and worked with me on my tattoo design. I could not be happier with the work. It was well worth the money and the experience alone was phenomenal!!!! I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat. Thank you Ricky for my beautiful tattoo.
