Simply lovely, this was the best value food and wine in Pisa. The cheese platter had a great selection of local produce, keeping the quality high and the quantities will not leave you going hungry. The Baccala was incredibly tender and fell apart as soon as you touched it. The vegetables chosen complemented the dish perfectly. All in it was 51 for two people to have a bottle of wine, starter and main. All this added with lovely staff mean that I would highly recommend this restaurant.

A small restaurant out of the main street that served a different menu compared to your typical tourist menu. Had a delightful Parmesan cheese gelato with pear and honey as a starter and a memorable pasta main which had cheese, bacon (and other things). There was an English menu but the waitress spoke limited English, but we could communicated effectively nonetheless. Would recommend as something different to your typical pizza/tourist menu.

The dishes are perfectly seasoned, the pasta is al dente, the fish is delicate.. they use seasonal produce (like chestnuts and leeks in the fall). Reasonably priced for such good food and service. Their wine list is simple, but the few options go well with the food. Also, the atmosphere is lovely.. it feels like an ancient wine cellar! Come here instead of some tourist trap!

Nice and warm location :-), well-done pasta, don't take the Baccala fish if out of season (it's tasteless in all the restaurants anyway), enjoyable house wine, relaxed atmosphere, lots of tourists and the serving was OK. I recommend the place! It has good reviews and should be on your list.

Nice place and good atmosphere, very good service but food was ok (I had Primo Piatto)
