Nice spot for jogging . If you want to enjoy running, come to this place \u200d️
Outdoor green natural lawn inside Villa Borghese. Many people go there to exercise, do yoga or gym or just to lie down in the meadows and be outside in the sun . The square Piazza di Siena was designed in 1792 taking as an inspiration a square called Piazza del Campo di Siena, as the Borghese Family originated from this town. The Piazza hosts a popular equestrian competition that used to take place every year in May.
Borghese gardens is the central park of Rome, and this area is the most... park-like. Geese, ducks and turtles frolic in a small pool where for 6 euros you can rent a row boat. A little romantic, a little playful, and a little quiet in the busy "eternal city". Stop here with children to let them run or with a significant other to have a moment to yourselves. Just make sure you go to the restroom first. The nearest ones are a little far away... so plan ahead. Snack carts are closer, so picnics need not be set up ahead of time.
It's beautiful, the racetrack is fine, it would be better if there was a nice spot to work out right there...
Beautiful setting in the middle of the park. Chariot track behind and the whole building draped in Bougainvilleas. Wonderful place to stop and relax.
Such a beautiful free park! There are sculptures all around and lots of share to relax in. You can rent bikes and hold carts to drive around. There are free water fountains to fill your water bottles. The Piazza do sienna is a beautiful race track area surrounded by tall trees.
One of several attractions at the Villa Borghese gardens; Piazza Siena still hosts equestrian events from time to time. It makes me so happy to see grand parks like these being preserved in a city as large as Rome. Worth a whole day's walkabout - pack a lunch box!
