One of the best experiences in the beautiful city of Perugia. The food is fulfilling and perfect change from Italian cuisine. As a middle eastern I can vouch for their Arabian/African dishes, they remind me of my home cooking. The place is good for groups with different diets, they have dishes that are vegetarian and meat. They adjusted the dishes spiciness too, so it’s not over whelming but still grants the same experience. I tried all the Appetizers, and mostly enjoyed their sombosa, the falafel and eggplant paste. My friend commented that the Verdure cuscus is so refreshing in the summer night heat. I personally enjoyed their spicy chicken, with bread! Make sure to have the Ethiopian coffee at the end of the your meal, it will energize you for the short walk to the Fontana and the center of the city. Definitely coming back!

Mandela è tanto buono quanto il suo cibo africano. Qui trovate delle ricette da diverse nazionalitá africane e uniche a Perugia, difficili da trovare altrove in Italia. Assaggiate gli antipasti misti e originali. Vi accorgerete della semplicitá e preparazione dei piatti fatti direttamente in cucina. I prezzi sono giusti e valgono la possibilitá di degustare piatti sia vegetariani che non. Mandela è il cuoco, ma l'anima di tutto corso garibaldi.

MESSAGGIO DEDICATO A TUTTI COLORO CHE SCRIVONO RECENSIONI POSITIVE Miei Cari, non avete mai provato la Vera Cucina Africana. Al riguardo, ecco il perché scrivete recensioni positive. Per un Italiano è sufficiente una \bandiera\ africana con su scritto Ristorante. Quando però l'italiano va in questi posti con Africani DOC, avviene lo sputtanamento. E la desolazione è notevole....soprattutto se fatta da Africani contro i loro stessi connazionali che si credono veri Chef.
