The hotel is clean but needs refurbishment. The owner is the cook and is really top. The food is very good and really italian. Tye staff is very nice and helpful.

This hotel is incredible! They couldn't have done more for us, even upgraded our room. The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful, the staff is so friendly and helpful, the room was impeccably clean, the hotel has really nice decor and the food: divine! Francesca was so helpful and has a really good taste as she helped me, my husband and my friend to choose our dinner and we were so impressed! Breakfast is proper Italian, full of cakes and delicious breads
We stopped off here on our way down to Puglia. We usually stay in Bologna but always find the parking to be difficult and, with a car full of holiday luggage, often spend the night worrying about its safety. So, having never been to San Pietro we were pleasantly surprised by what we found. Firstly- very easy to find and our Sat nav had no problems. We pulled up in front of the hotel but, after checking in, they moved us into the car park. Plenty of space in both areas. We had a very friendly check in and the lady spoke a little English which complimented my little Italian. The rooms were really nice. Strange colours (1970s orange) but were clean, spacious, cool and quiet. We dumped everything and had lunch in the garden, under the shade of canopies and pine trees. The food was just amazing! We had vino rosso locale although the owner gave us a sample of different wines. Very friendly! After a siesta, (we had just driven 16 hours), we showered and then ventured into town. A 10 minute walk brought us to the edge of town; note - as we walked in we could hardly hear ourselves think/ speakdue to the volume of the cicala.... INCREDIBLY load but amazing!) We walked around the town a bit to get a feel of the place, finding some quirky shops and studio, had an aperitivo in the main piazza and then had dinner in a local pizzeria. Quality food at reasonable prices. We didn't want a late night so walked back to the hotel in the embracing warmth. The buikding was very tranquil and beautifully lit. It made for a very romantic evening! After a superbly comfortable sleep we enjoyed a varied and fresh breakfast. Good coffee. So, all in all, we were really pleased with our find and will be trying to stop off there again next year. Highly recommended.

È molto carino. È piccolo ma molto ben fornito. La colazione è super. The garden is very nice... Is possible also to have dinner in the garden and is really nice. Il personale molto accogliente. I have like 5 years going there and always I have enjoyed it
