Lovely urban wetland where you can get close to authentic nature. Hire a bike for a fair fee (c. 4 per hour) and enjoy the tranquility and the joy of thriving wildlife and beautiful views (Note to the reviewer below: nature is not like Disneyland. The joy is in glimpses of it thriving; it will not always put on an Instagram-friendly song and dance show) Free entry but very knowledgeable lady at the reception if you pass by there. Combine with a visit t’importai beach for a great day out.

I was expecting to see a lot more flamingos but they were just a few a really far. The park itself is ok, not really pretty or green. If you happen to be in the area,. Come for walk or a bike ride but definitely not worth to come especially for that from the city.

Good and interesting place for running, waking and birdwatching. You can see flamingos from a very close distance. However, the place is quite neglected

This is a great place to visit in the morning, or late in the evening, along with the adjoining Il Parco delle Emozioni. During the day, especially in the hot summers of Cagliari, the intense sun will drain your energy fast. There are a few trees, but they do not provide enough shade to allow you to have a long hike. But a better reason to visit early or late are the pink flamingos who prefer cooler mornings and fresher evenings.

The park is home to pink flamingos. While we were driving by, we saw maybe one, two or three flamingos feeding on the wetland. Maybe it's not the perfect time of the day to see tens or hundreds of the magnificent birds. Check this park out when you are visiting Cagliari, it could be your lucky day :-)
