Food is good, portions are good, staff is great. They have a great booze selection - ask them! They're a bit too expensive, if anything

The Nikomiso Ramen is phenomenal.

Really nice, cosy ramen place dowtown Padova pricewise, it's a little bit expensive under our modest opinion but it is worth the effort. We suggest to take reservation previous walk-in

Positives - the staff are great and you get a star for that. Negatives - I can only surmise people with no experience of Asian Cuisine are giving this restaurant 5 stars. Gyoza is frozen. 6 for 5 pieces. I can buy this at the local Chinese supermarkets here in Padova at 3 for 20 pieces. Ordered as a starter and arrived with the main course. Tasteless, with a splashing of soy sauce on top. Vegetable tempura with rice. 12.50 Just call it an Onion Ring because that is what you exclusively filled it with. Oily and tasteless. As for the Miso Ramen. What a sad little bowl this was. Thin tasteless chicken broth. Could have easily been hot water. Packaged noodles too thick for this type of broth. Egg not marinated. 2 small pieces of pork. We left hungry, not wanting to order anything else. Souless, flavourless, overpriced food.

The place itself is minimalistic, decorated with very good taste and a good mix of modern and Japanese style. The chef is Japanese as well and so is the menu and drinks. The quality of the food is superb and the presentation is always nothing less than perfect. The place is quite small, so I strongly suggest to have a reservation, but this makes it even more special. The best ramen in town, and with a very friendly staff to. 5/5, highly recommended.
