Had such a nice and educational time! If you like history, you would love this place. So affordable and (surprisingly) well organized. You might need to conduct a mini research though (time, English availability). Still very doable and easy.
Nice tour guide. Due to Covid situation we were able to see everything because there were no other activities going on. For the price of 12 really good tour.
Incredible history, one of the first “independent” universities of Europe where luminaries from all over Europe and some beyond those countries come to study law and medicine without religious associations. Profound anatomy theatre in wood, that has survived until this day. Stunning halls where Galileo came to teach, claiming this to be one his favorite places and experiences of his lifetime. Tours available in English and comes with ticket purchase. Don’t miss this if you are in Padua, such interesting walls as well where many of the graduating class has created plaques commemorating their years there. University is still operational today which makes it even cooler!
It is the main office of University of Padua where you can obtain its entire history. There are guided tours every 2 hours (it depends on days of week) in English and Italian. The tour is free for students of University.
