This stop on our 2 week visit to Italy in May of 2019 was one of our favorites. A friend and I took advantage of Chef Lorenzo's cooking class. The day was full of laughter, cooking, and the food was delicious. Lorenzo and his small staff create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended. I returned home with wonderful memories and lots of delicious recipes. My thoughts and prayers have been with you in the past weeks concerning this horrible virus. I pray you, your staff and loved ones are spared. Keep well, my friend.

Chef Lorenzo is a great artist in food. Awesome sense of humor. Phenomenal presence in cooking. Great staff. House red wine was very enjoyable. Ambiance was superb. Menu was creative. I got brave and had the wild boar. My wife enjoyed the chicken. Pasta was everything you could hope for. Be sure to try this place and tell Lorenzo that the crazy guy from Oregon recommends him greatly.

We had a wonderful experience, taking the one day cooking class. We took it on a Saturday, so it included a stroll to the farmer‘s market, stopping for coffee along the way, and deciding on the fly what we were going to make for dinner. At the market, we tasted so much food - meats, fruits, olives, nuts, breads, cheeses, along with a glass of Orvietto Classico - that by the time we headed back to the restaurant with our produce we were already full. But we had just begun. Chef Lorenzo kept us hopping, while we prepped and made pesto sauce, various focaccias, gelato, pasta, pies — our entire meal. Along the way, Lorenzo filled us in on the history of not just the food we were making but the region, from Etruscan times forward. It‘s obvious he loves food, people, and history in equal parts.

We had a 7 or 8 course meal here and we're the only ones in the Ristorante - the chef is incredible and so friendly. We chatted about his love for rock bands amongst trying to squeeze in another course! We also got one of his signed books (The Etruscan Chef). Highly recommended.
