This is my go-to supermarket for our 2 week long stay in Orvieto. They have pretty much everything we need in a well organized and spacious store. The owner of our villa recommended it, and she wasn't wrong. We are here almost daily although the Conad is closer. Back home we buy mostly organics/bio for our twins, but grab the conventional fruits and veggies in Europe when we can't hit the farmers markets. The selection of organics including Vini Verde and others is really good here. Same with the fruits and veggies. Meat selection is also tops... we also Grab a rotisserie chicken or 2 for quick meals and accompaniment s... With 9 of us in the house they're a lifesaver. If there was a Pam hypermarket closer it may edge out the Coop, but alas it's just Pam Local (actually 2 of them) in the walled city of Orvieto and we are in Osarella so it's not worth the trip. I miss the very large packages of salads that I can get there, but I make do with what's in coop.
Great selection of produce some from very small local artisanal producers. Also really good selection of wines at prices that beat the cellar doors
