This is a total waste of money!! Don’t buy! 113 Euros down the drain. They promise “fast track” entry into top Rome attractions but you still need to reserve a time to get into the attractions, which means you either stand in line like everyone else to get a ticket to reserve your time, or reserve it ahead of time... doesn’t sound like fast track to me. Staff at attractions are also disorganized (and give off the impression they don’t care) and will tell you to get into the line like everyone else to get a timed ticket (translation: the pass is not recognized and therefore, useless). That’s some VIP service this ORP office is selling. Do yourself a favor and book attractions a few weeks in advance, you’ll probably save some money and a lot of headache. The unlimited use of public transportation for 72 hours is nice but you’re better off buying a 72 hour pass from a restaurant. Also, as others mentioned, they have their own version of the “hop on / hop off” buses, but they’re often late and have limited number of buses. These guys give Rome tourism a bad name.

Not worth the money! The hop and off bus tour is a joke, no marked stands at the stops, no explination of what you are driving by, inaccurate maps. The 72 hour pass for public transportation is also a joke because there are maps for the bus stops or route information provided. The skip the line requires a separate reservation and they will try to upsell you when you pick up your pass, add the guided audio tour, etc. Overall, not worth it.
Totally worth it when you know how to handle it. 1. the app is a must, it is so helpful and you can book and check all your tours, its also helpful to find the offices and entrances. 2. Also the staff is very friendly and explained everything, but because it is a lot you really have to pay attention. 3. For the colosseum you use the Roma Pass and you have to book your entry in advance, you can do that in the little cabin next to the entrance. (or check the roma pass info in advance) Audio-guide is ok, Video-guide is not necessary (and when the sun is shining you can't really see the screen. Better get a Tourguide. my personal advice: go first to the colosseum and later to the forum romanum - don't use the main entrance to the forum romanum, but one of the smaller entrances on the side, there is no waiting. 4. You also need to download another app for the audio guide in St. Peters Basilika and the Hop on Hop off Bus. The Audioguide for the Basilika is very good, the one for the Bus is not really necessary. Yes it seems expensive but you really get a lot for your money. 5 Stars
First trip to Rome and we were recommended the Omnia card. Heard positive previous experiences, however, this wasn't the case for us. The hop on bus is no longer available at the Vatican but this isn't explained by their staff upon collection. It's actually really hard to find their hop on points as they are not signposted and very few areas have staff. You don't save any money over booking the sites you want to visit directly and DO NOT believe the website about turning up and gaining straight access. This is not the case for sites such as the Coleseum. You will have to wait at least an hour queue to reserve a site entry time later that day. When closer to your reservation time you will still need to queue with everyone else that has the pass (another hour). Better just booking trips individually and save time and money.
We were a group of 10 travelling to Rome in May. We all purchased the pass and were all very disappointed. The hop on hop off buses were terrible. Most of the plugs on the upper level of the bus for your earbuds didn’t work and when you found one that did they were out of sync with the sites they were describing. Also the stops to pick up the bus we’re not marked and the maps were not up to date or accurate. The online booking process for the Vatican was not easy to use and if you have a problem there is no help available. We tried to change a date and couldn’t. When we tried to use the pass for the Coliseum and The Forum tours there was a 2 hour lineup and ended up paying for an additional pass to skip the line. Overall I would not recommend this pass. It is not worth the price
