OFFICINE SAFFI PROJECT Gallery - Lab - Publishing Officine Saffi Project is unique in Italy. The major focus of its mission is to encourage the development of quality ceramics, contemporary and antique, both in Italy and abroad, and to publicize the various facets of this sector amongst the general public. Special attention is dedicated to quality ceramics in the areas of art and design, by means of careful research into the aesthetic, conceptual and technical factors involved in ceramics. Officine Saffi Project, located in Milan’s old centre, comprises the Officine Saffi Ceramic Arts Gallery, an exhibition space for temporary shows; the OS Lab professional studio, an area equipped with professional facilities for ceramics production, used for courses at all levels, and the publishing company Officine Saffi Publishing which produces the quarterly magazine of art and culture La Ceramica in Italia e nel mondo. Officine Saffi Project was designed to be a national and international focus for increasing the visibility of ceramics: a space open to all, facilitating the comparison and sharing of ideas, knowledge and projects in this area of art.
