A beautiful building that is in a fantastic location. 5 minutes from the train station. 2 minutes to the river. 10 minutes to the museums and an equal amount to a stylish shopping area. Not to mention the great architecture and cobbled streets. The price was incredibly cheap at 15 a night. Clean bathroom, bed linen and an optional 3 for towels. You cannot go wrong for a short break to a beautiful renaissance city.

The place is nice, the rooms as well. They charge you for anything (even keeping your bag one hour because you arrived earlier to check in will cost you 4) The kitchen is almost not equipped, don't count on it too much. Only one fridge for everyone, and of course no space left for your things. But again, the place itself is nice.
Pros: spacious rooms, building with frescos, nice garden, has a kitchen, nice staff, everything’s super clean. Cons: Impossible to sleep since rooms don’t have a door, and are located next to the locker room. They also charge for everything. 1 for soap (in the middle of a pandemic..), 5 for towels, 4 for luggage room. No trash can in the bathrooms.
The staff is super rude. Super rude. I reached 1 hour before check in time and just wanted to drop my bag. He refused to take it unless I paid 4 euros for it. Then at night I went out, these people locked hostel doors and went away. I was locked outside. And when they came back, they said we just work here. Leave if you want to!!! I do not know the name but it was a fat guy who said that. Shame on you guys Highly disappointed
Everything was really good right from the start and till the end. They take 20 Euros deposit per person which is the highest I felt so far, but it made sense once we entered the rooms. I have good memories of that place but its all getting crushed because they are not refunding the 40 Euros and it's been more than 2 weeks. (The time period they promised). With these reason I'd rather give them 1 star but everything else was good about it hence 3/5.
Many thanks to Natalia for the introduction of the hostel, I got to know many facts about the interior garden and place in general Many thanks to Emanuele aswell for helping me out during the mornings The location is great and very clean place with a big kitchen It was a pleasure staying here a few nights Hope to be back very soon Ciao !
It’s a hit or miss experience depending on staff, folks in your room etc. like all hostels but here’s the downsides that I experienced outside of this qualifier. 1. No soap in the dorm bathrooms. In COVID! I spoke to staff about this and they said they couldn’t because guests would just take the soap with them. Think solutions...add to the wall soap dispensers. Management needs to do this immediately! There was hand sanitizer outside the kitchen and at entry but there were no advice from the hostel on mask wearing or cleanliness. No temperature checks. Fell on individual behavior. 2. The main dorms are all connected to a central locker room that’s loud af. No signed for quiet hours, no signage for reminders of respecting others. On my last night the staff checked in a guest at 1.30 am were speaking at the top of their voices for 15 minutes and I had to pop my head over the open wall and ask them to quiet down. 3. Idk what procedures exist on entry but non-guests were sleeping over in the bunk next to mine. Unacceptable. 4. There’s no consistency on staff check-in. Wasn’t told check out time. Wasn’t told I would have to leave my key at the front desk every time I left, some staff wouldn’t care, others would. 5. No signage or policies for common fridge use. Some of my food was thrown out by cleaner, some was eaten by other guests. Here’s the thing, other hostels have ways to work this...staff respects the place, it sets a standard and guests respect the place. There should be a shelf labeled with “leftover food” for those that are leaving that don’t want to take their food with them. Pros: 1. There is a kitchen. 2. The building and courtyard are beautiful. 3. The cleaner appears to take their job seriously and does a good job but there needs to be more frequent cleaning in the kitchen and bathroom. 4. The beds are comfortable and have a good weight blanket. I’ll be avoiding all other new generation hostels, and I advice you to as well.
VERY noisy as the beds are right by all of the lockers. Staff were rude and I was charged 6 on arrival even though I’d already paid for both nights.
