A nice little museum that covers geology, dinosaurs, invertebrates, human settlement, large mammals (saber tooth tigers, mammoths, etc.), cetaceans, and minerals among other things. Admission for an adult is 10 Euros.

Very nice museum though the botanical garden looks like it hasn't been maintained for months. The staff was friendly though, and the parts within the building were maintained well. I did enjoy visiting so I would surely come again if I knew what I know now. It was a pity that most of the descriptions only were in Italian but that didn't bother me as much as the condition of the botanical garden.
Visit with children to th botanical garden..beautiful pond with fish
Nice little known place. Fantastic Sala del mare, with all the large whales hanging from the ceiling. Good also for little concerts and events
Small museum on the outskirts of Livorno. Helpful staff, nice outdoor area, for a small display, a lot of good exhibits. Their acquarium exhibits were not live - the only disappointment.
