Really cool place, good place to relax if the funicular is closed and wait an hour or so. Spacious, and bathrooms are very clean. Better than most of Italy. Everything is served in clear glassware (food, drinks), and it’s pretty modern overall. Friendly staff too! Prices are a bit high, but I wouldn’t mind paying them again for this experience.

Perfect place for evening in Montecatini Terme. Pub Funi is located just by the cable car (\Funicolare\) to Montecatini Alto, about 1 km from the town centre. The food is local and fine, wines perfect. We took Chianti and Pinot Grigio (red and white wines), both excellent. The stuff is nice and friendly, prices more than reasonable and there is no \couver\ charges. Toillets are very clean and spacious what is nice exception compared with average Italian restaurant. There was live music on Friday and very dinamic DJ on Saturday. Well, we spent really good time in Funi 1898. Bravo for Funi team !!!!

My wife and I had a lovely dinner here. The waitress was very friendly. We don't really speak Italian, but she was able to serve is in English. My wife had the Caprese salad and I had the bacon burger. If you like your burger juicy, i recommend to order it medium-rare. We both enjoyed our meal. Especially the dessert with mascarpone and Nutella of Maracuja. A must if you decide to eat here!
