Raffaela was so friendly, knowledgeable and an amazing cook. She made us feel right at home with her in her kitchen and dining room in her lovely rustic home in montalcino. Not to be missed if you want an authentic cooking experience in Tuscany!

Raffaella hosted our party of 8 for a cooking class at her Montalcino home. It was an enjoyable and educational day as we made four different courses, including two different kinds of pasta, and at the end enjoyed a lovely meal. Raffaella helped us customize our day and create a menu that would allow our group to learn some new techniques. We were impressed that the cooking class was able to easily involve our entire group. The food was wonderful, Raffaella was a great host and teacher, and we felt very at home in her kitchen. We have already been busy cooking up some of the recipes since our return home and they have been delicious! If you’re looking for fun, customizable and educational cooking class in the Val d’Orcia area we highly recommend Lunch with Raffaella!
My husband and I had the best experience with Raffaella. She lives in the most charming home in Montalcino and welcomed us with open arms. We prepared a large dinner consisting of appetizers and wine while we cooked. After preparation we sat in her formal dining room and enjoyed the fruits of our labor. Her home is beautiful, with incredible views! The food was incredible and she was extremely kind and patient with us. This is a true, authentic experience!
Raffaella is a wonderfully charming and lovely cooking teacher who (with the help of her friend Francesca, because we were such a large group) came out to our AirBnB villa near Montalcino and showed the 12 of us how to do 4 different classic Tuscan dishes. Everything tasted amazing and the whole experience is one I will remember for a lifetime. We will do this again the next tine we are in Tuscany. Thank you so much Raffaella!
Best cooking classes in Val d'Orcia! Amazing location (Raffaella's husband is Montalcino architect Marco Pignattai), great views & wine (Brunello, of course!) and then Raffaella herself who is an incredibly talented cook with oodles of patience (even for beginners like me).
