If you want to feel the magic of one of the best historic areas of Milan is a must to go. The art gallery is inside the Art University - Brera. You will have access to an incredible art collection like Raffaello, Caravaggio, Bellini... The perfect plan is to book the ticket in advance for a morning visit. Then at the end of your visit drink something in the fantastic cafeteria (you pay something more but is worth it). And then have a walk and food in the surroundings.

It is awesome. Went in early August so I had to book, the museum was almost empty, lots of space to enjoy properly each piece. I had ab amazing experience although there was no guide but it can be accessed through their app. My only regret is not having visited on my previous visits to Milan.

Great gallery! Mostly with paintings relating to religion.

Very beautiful museum and interesting art content. They really welcome their citizens, but also foreigners, to see what they have to offer. They used to offer (I don't know now) a reduced price entrance if you'd go late evening on a certain day of the week. Furthermore during the epidemic they were offering online view of their paintings and you could get to know more about the painters though the info below.

Was blown away with the collection of masterpieces! Well worth the time spent. It is a wonderful collection spread over 36 rooms. It also has a garden area and lots of sculptures to feast your eyes on. A must see when in the city.
