In 2014 the International Department distributed the Canonisation Ceremony of Pope John XXIII and Pope John Paul II live from St. Peter's Square in Rome to cinemas in 20 countries all over the world. It also distributed The Vatican Museums 3D and the Beatles’ A Hard Day's Night to more than 60 countries. The results were exceptional, so much so that with over 200,000 spectators all over the world, the Vatican Museums 3D has become the most viewed speciality film in International cinema history.
