One of the main metro stations in Milan. You change here for the green (m2) and red (m1) lines. It's pretty big, with about 6 exits but no where near \cool\ as a big Japanese stations are. The exits near viale Monza e via Padova aren't that nice in dark hours and security around the place is bad at night. I've had 2 episodes where some men would stick to me while passing the ticket counter to pass for free. Even if I shouted to them, no one noticed (or did, but did not helped me). Once, a young man felt sick and while people were trying to help him, I went to the main entrance of the red line to tell them to call for an ambulance. The answer: that's the green line's competence. The ambulance arrived on the red entrance anyways. One good thing is the company's offices on the site in case you loose your monthly card and the quantity of vending machines inside. There is also the presence of the military sometimes...this is when you feel the safest.

Large subway station, even if a little tricky when providing directions where to change line. Pay also attention to pickpockets in most busy hours. For the rest it is a good station.
large metro station that if you don’t pay attention to the signage, will have you lost and exiting on the wrong side of the street you need to be on. There are two metro lines here, all with lifts and escalators, but sometimes they are difficult to find or you have to walk a distance to located them.
Exchange underground stop where line 1 (the red) and line 2 (the green) are crossing. Some years ago was renovated and now it is a bit better.
Clean and organized. No problem.
